We use Ovangkol and Imbuya which are varieties of walnut for our Standard fretless models, and with the clear, clean, ‘woody’ sound it produces it makes the perfect choice for our fretless electric basses.

As always, partnered with a silky macassar ebony fingerboard and the Caldera’s perfect balance, you will find it hard to put this bass down.

Our unique hand wound pickups, with or without our very own active tone shaping electronics offer a distinctive tonal spectrum that encompasses both the familiar and individual range of tone our basses are well known for.
